It was actually less than 3 months... I bought the crank set, with these bearings, in November, and started riding this bike (one of 5 I own, but it is my best and most used) in late February... I ground the bearings to powder by the end of March! I replaced them with Shimano Ultegra bearings, and they seem to work better, however the crankset won't stay together unless I torque the bold close to snapping and put enough lock-tight to glue a dragster to the starting line of a race, and even then it will come lose over a long ride!
