Cannondale gave huge allowance for my cracked Caad 5, so I got a "team" version (oversized BB, spindle, bearings). My second ride was 140 miles with over 8,500 feet of climbing. What a bike! Power transfer is fantastic (I road AWAY from guys I normally ride WITH). Descending ls superior to Caad 5 -I think it's a combination of torsional stiffness & more stable front end.

Geomatry is almost identical to six-13 except Synapse is closer to the ground by about ½". Synpase is almost "plush" - more vertical compliance than typical Cannondale, but even more torsional stiffness. Chain stays are enormous. This is my 1st all carbon bike & I have only 2K miles on it, but so far this is the best bike I've ever ridden, period. Value rating 5 because they gave me such a deal for my old frame. Team issue is pricey. At my age (59), I really don't care, I ride what I want. I average 350+ miles a week with an occasion 600 mile monster.
