After 10 years on a steel framed Moser and the fact that I had just started full on cycling after a few years away, I thought it was time for an upgrade.
The bike I purchased is a Bianchi 928 C2C with Veloce groupset. The Khamsin wheelset were upgraded to Mavic rims with Record hubs.
Talk about an eye opener. The day I got this and rode it home for the first time, I had the biggest smile on my face, I just wanted to keep riding till my legs fell off.
I can't really compare to other carbon bikes so I can only give my thoughts on what this bike feels like.

It feels a lot smoother than the steel frame, it doesn't transmit rough bumps like my steel bike, so my backside doesn't bounce off the seat as much.
I had the stem pointing upwards so I could situp a lot better, to ease the neck soreness I was getting on my previous bike and through the webbing between my thumb and finger.
The bike is very fast, due to it's lightness and the Campag groupset doesn't disappoint, shifting is precise especially going uphill. The Record hubs/ Mavic rims gives the bike another dimension, extremely well balanced wheels and low resistance.
Any negatives perhaps the seat, steering is a bit more twitchier than my old frame. If you are looking to upgrade go the wheelset rather than groupset. Unless money is no object.
Overall very happy with the purchase and am just looking forward to many long houred rides over the Summer.
